World Record Opening Day – The Chicago Dogs
May 17th in Rosemont

Tickets now on sale for The Chicago Dogs. On Opening Day May 17th at 7:05PM all fans will receive an iconic hot dog costume and will set a world record for the largest gathering of hot dogs in one location. NHL Hall of Famer Chris Chelios will throw out the first pitch and acclaimed vocalist Wayne Messmer will perform the National Anthem. Post-game kids run the bases. Kids Time: Tool Time – The Museums at Lisle Station Park
May 11 in Lisle

Visit the museum for a morning of free family fun! Suggested ages 3-10, co-sponsored by Lisle Library District. Come out to the museum’s barn and learn to swing a hammer, turn a wrench, and “drive a seven” like a professional craft worker! Free.

 

 

 


The Jungle Book – Tivoli Theatre
May 11 in Downers Grove

Join a young boy named Mowgli as he learns the importance of friendship, family and survival with the help of his new friends Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther. Filled with songs, dance and audience participation, you’ll have more fun than a barrel of monkeys!

 

 

 


Mother’s Day BBQ Brunch – Rack House Kitchen & Tavern
May 12 in Arlington Heights

Mothers Day Skate – Triphahn Center & Ice Arena
