Did you know trees have flowers? As the most visited garden in Illinois, spring time here is like no other. The Morton Arboretum has the largest collection of flowering trees in the Midwest.
Beginning also this spring, discover the hidden strength of trees through a powerful outdoor exhibition of root-themed sculptures by Steve Tobin, designer of the ‘Trinity Root’ at Ground Zero honoring the fallen of 9/11. Ten to 25’ feet high, these provocative steel and bronze root and other nature-inspired sculptures will encourage visitors to view from where these majestic trees begin to grow.
